About High Country Bath
High Country Bath was born out of a deep love for the mountains.
Our family has lived at the foot of the Rocky Mountains for nearly 30 years. Some of our most meaningful moments have been spent heading into the high country—slowing down, breathing in the alpine air, and soaking in Colorado’s natural hot springs.
There is something unmistakably restorative about those waters.
Over time, we began to notice that each hot spring offers a completely different experience. Some are deeply relaxing. Others are energizing. Some soften the skin, while others seem to ease tension from deep within the body.
The difference is in the minerals.
Bringing the Hot Springs Home
We created High Country Bath to recreate those experiences for ourselves—and for those who don’t have daily access to the mountains.
Each of our mineral soaks is inspired by a real Colorado hot spring. We carefully study the geothermal mineral profiles of these waters and formulate our blends to reflect their unique composition as closely as possible.
However, recreating a natural hot spring is not as simple as copying numbers.
For example, some springs are naturally high in sodium bicarbonate. In nature, this mineral forms deep within the earth under pressure, interacting with gases and ions in a way that creates a balanced, skin-friendly experience. In powdered form, however, that same level can feel overly alkaline and drying.
So we make intentional adjustments.
Our goal is not just accuracy—it is experience.
Every formula is crafted to deliver a relaxing, spa-like soak that feels as good as it is inspired by nature.

For our scented blends, we work with a NAHA Level 2 Certified Aromatherapist who carefully oversees formulation and safety.
